Police say they've made another arrest in connection with a shooting inside a Northern California church that injured two teenage brothers.
Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said Tuesday officers arrested 18-year-old Marcel Buggs on charges including assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm.
A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy had also been arrested in the case but have been released. Bisa said formal charges could still be filed.
A man in his 50s died Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle near Norwood and Jessie avenues in the Robla area of Sacramento, police said.
Sgt. Norm Leong said the man, who was in a wheelchair, was crossing the road outside of the crosswalk about 7:30 p.m. when the accident happened.
A motorist in his 60s was traveling on Norwood Avenue and struck the wheelchair, police said.
The man was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, where he died, Leong said.
Police said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
William Murray, a Sacramento accountant who stole more than $13 million from 52 clients between 2001 and 2009, pleaded guilty today in federal court to mail fraud and interference with tax administration.
